God has been tugging at my heart to do something for Him. Since I find studying God’s Word so exciting and refreshing and encouraging, I want to use my God–given gift of writing to reach out to people who don’t know God’s Word as a joy to read. Someone who may not understand the precious promise that comes from choosing a beautiful life spent for eternity with Him instead of burning eternally in hell. Yes, there is a hell! It is my prayer that someone will find the freedom to choose Jesus as their Savior, and find all their sins forgiven (John 3:16) and to find solace and comfort in God’s Precious Holy Word!! May you find some pleasure in following my blog, “Traveling God’s Trailways!”
The title of my blog, “Traveling God’s Trailways” was chosen for a couple of reasons. Even though I grew up in a Christian family in a Christian community in Northwestern Iowa, I didn’t stay on that path all of my life. It was when I left the path Christ had planned for me, and tried to do things my way, that I finally learned – His way is the only way to true happiness and peace. What a joy it was to find He was patiently waiting for me to come back to Him and to grant me His Grace and Love!
The other reason was a note I recently came across in a book my Grandma, Mabel Hebron, gave me for my graduation from high school in 1960. The book was “Mountain Trailways for Youth” by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman, 1954. Grandma had written to me, “My prayer is for you to follow God’s Trailways where ever they take you.”!
